Course Description:

Shelby School of Esthetics program will provide students with hands-on experience in the art of skin care, including electrical facials, basic facials, hair removal, and many custom facial principles. Students learn about general health and wellness, cosmetics, and basic dermatology, chemistry and anatomy.

*This program is a clocked 600 hour program per the NC Board of Cosmetic Arts

Esthetic Classes (please check one)

Course Description:

The Esthetics Instructor Trainee curriculum provides a course of study covering the skills needed to teach the theory and practice of esthetics as required by the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetology. Course work includes all phases of esthetics laboratory instruction and consist of 650 Hours. Student must be a current Licensed Esthetician. Graduates should be prepared to take the North Carolina Cosmetology State Board Esthetics Instructor Licensing Exam and upon passing be qualified for employment in a cosmetology or esthetics school.

Each Class is limited enrollment. Program requires 6 and 1/2 months or 650 hours.

Esthetic Instructor Trainee

Course Description:

The primary purpose of the advanced aesthetics 16 week course is to inspire, educate, and promote the highest level of education for every attending student with an emphasis on medical aesthetics and post graduate training. Curriculum includes: dermaplaning, oncology, 3D areolar pigmenting (JUST ADDED), microneedling, lip blushing, microshading, advanced microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser hair removal, ipl for vascular & pigmented lesions skin rejuvenation and acne clearance, radio-frequency deep-dermal heating/tightening for the face and body.

*This program is for Licensed Estheticians, Cosmetologist, Barbers and Nurses. We do not cover basic esthetic functions such as performing a facial etc. MUST BE LICENSED
