USTA New England offers a variety of scholarship opportunities for junior players of all ages. Whether you're ten years old looking to become involved in your local park and recreation program, a high school player looking to try a Junior Team Tennis event, a high performance player looking to travel to the national championships, there are opportunities for you!
Directions:
- Must reside within the USTA New England Section and be a USTA member.
- You must apply for assistance for each program separately.
- Willingness to commit to the USTA New England Player Oath and uphold the values of the New England play.
- Submit a fully completed scholarship application form, this includes a photo/video release form.
- Complete a digital accountability form and report to share the experience and achieve milestones.
- Must communicate financial need and the impact.
- To be considered for a grant this form must be completed according to these directions and signed electronically by the player, parent or legal guardian.

Important Things to Know:
1) Players must apply for the USTA New England Player Development Scholarship, the Learn to Play Youth Scholarship, and The Reduced Entry Fee Program via the grant form available here.
2) Applications for financial assistance will be reviewed the first Monday of every month and will not be considered retroactively. If you are looking for financial assistance in the month of February, your request must be received prior to the first day of the month.
3) Criteria used to review scholarships submissions include but are not limited to: Player standing, family financial needs, diversity and inclusion, and a record of being a good sport.
