Which prof. do you wish to work with?

Please note that each student can only receive lessons in one class during the academy.

If you wish for more than one professor, you can specify priorities underneath - remember, that we carefully select with the professors, and focus on good personal matches as well as motivation and quality of craft, and it might therefore be that you are placed in another class than the one you wished for.

If that is the case, remember that all classes are open to listen, that there are house concerts, where the professors are present and listen to everyones playing, and that we are a social academy, where professors, administration and students eat together in the same canteen.

The class of Augustin Dumay and Anna Agafia Egholm is a shared class. Half of the lessons is tought by Augustin Dumay and the other half is tought by Anna Agafia Egholm - this gives and uneven division as the total number of lessons are 3, which we call your attention on before signing up.

It's with great pride that we announce our collaboration with Larsen Strings, offering all FCA-string players a personalized set of strings. To ensure you receive the utmost precision in string selection, the specialists at Larsen Strings require specific details about your instrument and musical preferences. Kindly provide the following information, allowing us to curate a great selection of strings tailored precisely to your needs and aspirations.

Which strings do you have in your current string setup?
What do you particularly appreciates about this string setup?

Immediately following April 5th, the participants for the Summer Academy 2025 will be selected.

The invitations will be sent out to the candidates by email. After receipt of the invitation, the candidate must respond by email within 48 hours, confirming his/her/their participation in the course. Too late a response might result in loss of a place.

After receiving the students confirmation, FCA will send an email containing our agreement as well as "house" rules and recommendations and practical information of the course which must be signed and returned no later than May 15th.

The payment deadline for the course fee is May 1st.

Only after FCA has received the signed agreement and tuition fee is participation in FCA guaranteed.

A waiting list will be made for each class in case of cancellations.

Any fee payed to FCA is non-refundable.
Only in rare cases (force-majeure, serious personal circumstances etc.) the course fee can be reimbursed. The team of FCA reserves the right to judge which circumstances can be considered as such.
