  • 2023-2024 Tuition:

  • TUITION IS BASED ON A 10-MONTH SCHOOL YEAR 

    Ganainu (Pre-K monthly program, one child accompanied by an adult): $18/month

    Kindergarten: $45/month 

    1st and 2nd Grade (includes 1-on-1 Hebrew Tutoring): $50/month

    3rd - 7th Grade (includes 1-on-1 Hebrew Tutoring):  $68/month

  • Congregational Membership:  All families registering for the Community Religious School must be members in good standing of Congregation Shir Shalom, Temple Beth Tzedek, or Temple Beth Zion, as per the membership rules of that congregation. (Unaffiliated Families, please see below.)

    Tuition Billing:  Tuition costs will be billed to families by their respective congregations.

    Scholarship: No child will be denied the opportunity to attend and fully participate in the Community Religious School due to family financial need. Synagogue members can apply for Religious School tuition assistance. Families are required to request such assistance from their respective congregations.

    Unaffiliated Families: CRS welcomes unaffiliated families*. Unaffiliated students pay double tuition as stated above. Synagogue membership and attendance is highly encouraged. There is no tuition assistance available for unaffiliated families. Synagogue membership is required from 5th grade on for a bar/bat mitzvah at TBT, CSS and TBZ. Please contact Einav Symons at 716-574-6016 or CRS.einavsymons@gmail.com for additional information. 

    *Families are considered unaffiliated if they have not been a member of a congregation in the past three years.

  • Attendance Policy:  We recognize that children and their families may have other obligations or activities that, at times, interfere with their attendance at Religious School.  We will provide a list of approved tutors who can be engaged to compensate for the lost classroom time. Families will be responsible for these costs. 

    Consecration, Bar/Bat Mitzvah:  Requirements, programs, and fees will be managed by the individual congregations.
