This award will be made to any youth organisations (this includes primary and secondary schools or youth groups). The award is for the organisation’s contribution to raising awareness, knowledge and understanding of Landcare amongst young people up to the age of 18, and for implementing Landcare practices on its own property or within the local community.

Judging Criteria - the judges will use the information provided in this nomination to assess the extent to which the
nominee/s has:
1. Improved understanding of your youth organisation and/or the community on important environmental issues and developing their skills to better manage them.
2. Implemented projects that encourage enthusiasm and a sense of achievement in young Landcarers (e.g. you extend learning and skills-development classes into practical on-ground activity).
3. Helped others learn about Landcare (e.g. other young groups and/or the wider community).
4. Developed educational resources and formed partnerships that increase the capacity for young Landcarers to learn about improving important environmental issues.
The 2023 winner of this Award will be nominated for the 2023 New South Wales Junior Landcare Award.
