The Theta Tau Educational Foundation is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2022-2023 Scholarship Program through midnight, June 15, 2023. Applicants must be members of Theta Tau Professional Engineering Fraternity for at least six months with a ranking of a sophomore or higher. They also must be in good standing with their chapter and have taken at least 12 credit hours during the preceding term. Scholarships will be awarded from one of the following endowed funds based on the individual fund criteria, as well as the overall academic achievement and contributions to the Fraternity derived from the answers to the application questions.
• Iota Beta Permanent Scholarship Fund: (Preference will be given to applicants attending a college in the State of Michigan, and/or any Jesuit or Catholic college located in the U.S.)
• The JB Ladd, Zeta ‘49 Scholarship Fund: (Preference will be given to members of Zeta Chapter)
• The Jeremy Chan, Tau Gamma ‘08 Scholarship Fund: (Preference given to members of Tau Gamma Chapter)
• The Robert L. Miller, Omicron ‘41 Scholarship Fund: (Preference given to members of Omicron Chapter or chemical engineering majors)
• The William S. Johnson, Rho ‘42 Scholarship Fund: (Preference given to members of Rho Chapter)
• The Simon Ramo, Lambda ‘33 Scholarship Fund
• The George P. Kalv, Gamma Beta ’47 Scholarship Fund
To apply, populate all fields and note that those marked with an asterix (*) include the two file uploads: a transcript and a portrait photo. Since transcripts will not be available until the Spring semester is completed, it is recommended that applicants prepare their answers in advance and paste the content in once the transcript and photo are available.
