OFNHP takes any action of our stewards seriously. All stewards pledged in Good Faith to enforce the contract, educate coworkers, communicate with the workgroup, represent coworkers fairly and with respect, participate in steward council meetings, and work with elected leaders, staff, and members of OFNHP Local 5017 to build a strong union and improve working conditions in our region (Steward Pledge). After submission of this form, the Leadership Development Committee will discuss, perform an investigation, and decide whether a duly elected steward should be reprimanded or removed under the policies adopted by the Executive Board, within 30 calendar days. In the event the member is unsatisfied with the decision, they will have 14 calendar days to respond with an appeal. The LDC will then provide a final ruling within 14 calendar days.
