    • MindPlus OurSchool is our one day a week programme where students come to one of our sites in Auckland or Christchurch for one day a week.
    • MindPlus Online is our half day a week programme where students connect for an online meeting and have activities to complete each week.

    The information you give here helps us to learn about your child’s particular abilities and qualities and helps us to make a decision about them attending MindPlus. It's really important that you give us full information about your child so that we can quickly understand their strengths and needs and, if accepted into MindPlus, place them in a class of like-minded peers.

The more you tell us, the better we will be able to understand those strengths. For their learning, socialisation and health & safety of all our MindPlus students, it is essential that you give us full information. If you don’t provide full information we may not be able to progress this application, or if accepted to MindPlus, we may need to re-assess their application and attendance. If your child has difficulties with behaviour this may not necessarily affect their application, but we do need to know so that we can make an informed decision.

  • If/when your child is offered a place at MindPlus, you will need to agree to our Financial Terms and Conditions. Please have a read of these here: https://www.neurodiversity.org.nz/parent-guide-mindplusourschool

    2026 Fees

    $30 application fee - this is payable if/when you receive a place offer to attend MindPlus
    $50 annual donation - this is a voluntary annual donation payable when your child starts at MindPlus
    MindPlus OurSchool: $800 per term 
    MindPlus Online: $380 per term

  • 2026 Scholarships
    At this stage, the Ministry of Education has not confirmed ongoing funding for our programmes for gifted and neurodivergent learners in 2026. Because of this, we are not currently able to offer new scholarships for MindPlus OurSchool or MindPlus Online in 2026. Scholarships already awarded will continue as usual.


    General Scholarship Information
    Our scholarship programme aims to support students from groups that are often under-represented.To be eligible for a scholarship, your child must meet at least one of the following criteria:
    Identifies as a girl or gender diverse
    Identifies as Māori and/or Pasifika
    Attends a school in a lower socio-economic area
    Has strong potential that is unlikely to be realised without MindPlus support
