  • VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES


    There are many different ways you can lend your support to the TD Edmonton International Jazz Festival.

    Begin by selecting your first choice from the drop down menu. Follow the same procedure for your second and third choice. Please understand that while every effort will be made to accommodate your choices, demand for positions may not allow for individuals to work their desired position. Should none of your choices be available, the Volunteer Manager will be in touch with you to determine the best fit.

    Please provide the days you will be available to volunteer for the TD Edmonton International Jazz Festival.

  • VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT:


    The TD Edmonton International Jazz Festival agrees to provide adequate information for the volunteer to be meet their designated tasks and responsibilities.

    As a volunteer, I agree:

    • To adhere to the Festival rules and procedures
    • To meet my time and duty commitments and/or provide at least 24 hours notice to the volunteer coordinator so alternate arrangements can be made
    • To wear my Festival shirt and required gear at all times while on shift
    • To conduct myself in a friendly, courteous and respectful manner when dealing with the public, artists, staff and other volunteers.
    • Not to hold the Festival or any of its representatives liable for any injury or loss to my person or property that may occur.
    • That any violation of rules, written or oral, may result in termination of my volunteer duties.

    Volunteer Rights

    As a volunteer you are entitled:

    • To be treated with respect
    • To be properly informed about the Festival, its expectations, procedures
      and policies
    • To feel comfortable with your designated tasks
    • To be recognized for your contribution
    • To be treated fairly

     

  • Once your application is received, it will be reviewed by the volunteer coordinators who will follow up with you to determine the best volonteer position(s) for you and coordinate your shifts.
