E-CADEMY Future Engineers Scholarship (EFES)
Project SYNCERE has established a scholarship program to assist E-CADEMY program participants who plan to enroll in college or vocational school programs related to STEM.
Eligibility for each scholarship is below and eligible applications are reviewed by Project SYNCERE’s Scholarship Committee.
Applicants to the EFES Scholarship must be:
- Past or Present E-CADEMY Program Participants
- High school seniors or first time students who plan to enroll in a full-time or part-time study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
Awards
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award ranging between $750 - $5,500. Awards are not renewable.
Payment of Scholarships
Project SYNCERE will process scholarship payments and provide funds directly to the Instituition.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
- Acceptance & intent to enroll in a post-secondary or vocational STEM program. (Proof of Acceptance Required)
- Project SYNCERE Program Transcript
- Demonstrated participation in Project SYNCERE Program activities with an attendance average of at least 85% across all years of participation
- Confirmed participation years
- PS Class Awards, MVP, Most Improved, etc
- Project SYNCERE teacher referral.
- A statement of educational and career goals and objectives 300-650 words.
- Completed Program Portfolio (Class of 2023 and above)
Financial need is not considered. Selection of recipients is made by Project SYNCERE Awards Committee. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
As part of your application, you must upload the following:
- Essay on educational and career goals and objectives and how Project SYNCERE has and can continue to support you with your goals. 300-650 words.
- Proof of Acceptance or enrollment to a post-secondary STEM program
- Completed Program Portfolio (Class of 2023 and above). A link to an online portfolio is acceptable.
