Donation Disclaimer

All donations that may contain personal data will be wiped as per our data destruction policy. Donations that do not meet our requirements may be e-wasted or turned away. Once a device carrying data has been wiped, it can no longer be reclaimed. The donated item will no longer have its original parts and will be sold or used elsewhere. If the item is turned away please go to the Recycling Center, 1104 Madison Lane, Salinas, 93907; (831) 775-3000.

Donations LFC Accepts

Laptop	Must run Windows 8 or newer
Desktops	10 years or newer
Chromebooks	Must not be expired
Apple Products	Must be from 2015 or newer Must be unlocked: iCloud, Email, Apple Account, etc. No cracks or shattered screen
Flat Screen Monitors	19” to 32” Must have two of the following: HDMI, VGA, Display Port No CRT
Accessories	Wired keyboards and mice Wireless keyboards and mice Speakers
Printers	No Ink and No toner No HP’s

LFC does not accept any broken electronics that can not be fixed. We do our best to refurbish electronic devices so they may serve someone in need. We request a minimum donation of $5 to accept E-wasted. LFC may make exceptions on a case-by-case basis, including vintage/antique technology. When donating anything to LFC, you will be required to fill out a donation form. LFC legally can not tell you how much the items are worth.

Apple Products must be wiped, and your iTunes account must be disconnected. All Apple donations that are still password protected and connected to your Apple account, including find my, music, and Apple Store will not be accepted. LFC is unable to factory reset Apple devices that still have an account attached to the product.
