AWARD DESCRIPTIONS

Lifetime Achievement Recipient
A woman of color that has a lifetime of work in their profession or commitment to a cause, that has left a lasting impact for many to follow and admire. We would prefer for their body of work to represent over two decades.

Woman of the Year
This nomination is for a woman of color who exemplifies excellence in our community. She will have a body of work that speaks on its on merits of making our community a better place.

Trailblazer of the Year
This nomination is for a native Tulsan who is a woman of color who exemplifies excellence in thier profession or career in a city outside of Tulsa. 

Corporate Woman of the Year
A woman of color that has shown success operating and thriving in corporate Oklahoma.

Entrepreneur of the Year
A woman of color that owns and operates their successful business. They must have this business open for a minimum of three years.

Educator of the Year
A woman of color who has a successful career in the education field. She must have 5 years in the education field.

Influencer of the Year
Nominate a woman of color who makes a positive influence on our community.

Entertainer of the Year
We are looking for a woman of color that is a great entertainer in their church, local band or solo artists in Tulsa.

Author of the Year
Nominate a woman who is a great author. She must have published at least one book.

Public Servant of the Year
A woman of color that serves Oklahoma City through their church or organization.
Impact Woman of the Year

Black Girls Rocks Recipient
A graduating Senior in high school who displays excellence in the class room with a minimum of a 3.00 GPA and has 20 hours in community Service. She will win a $500.00 scholarship from Perry Publishing & Broadcasting Company.

Mother of the Year
A woman of color that leads by example of raising and nurturing her children.
