• VHWSG Fibrations Volunteer sign up

Victoria’s annual fiber festival, Fibrations, will be back again this year at Stevenson Park in Fernwood. As usual, guild members will be there to explain who we are and what we do, as well as to demonstrate our skills. This year we will be inviting the public to engage with our volunteers as we teach them spinning and weaving basics. We are also going to offer silk cocoon reeling and a large interactive tapestry loom. We can’t do this without volunteers, however. Volunteers are required to help set up and take down our tent, and to host the public during the festival. We are asking our volunteers to be comfortable with engaging with people of all ages to help spread the love of weaving and spinning.  If you would like to be part of this fantastic event, please sign up for a shift!
