The Jamaica International Independence Foreign Song Competition (JIIFSC) is a 501(c)3 registered entity which seeks to engage your support in the form of sponsorship toward the fifth staging of our annual event, for which the finals will be held at the Shiloh High School Theater in Atlanta, Georgia, on July 26, 2025.

Founded and established by Garfield “Gary-G” McCook in 2020, himself an artiste and entrepreneur, his vision of providing a platform for showcasing the musical talents of Jamaicans in the Diaspora has been realized through this competition, and is open to Jamaicans, or persons of Jamaican descent, in the Diaspora.

JIIFSC does not solicit entries from Jamaican based entrants, nor does it engender rivalry or competition with the long established JCDC Festival Song Competition, in Jamaica.

The three staged vetting and selection process incorporates public participation, music industry professionals, and a judges’ panel.

Our inaugural event in 2021 which amassed global entries, saw online participation of over 5,000 during the pandemic’s highpoint. In 2024, online participation exceeded 10,000, with in person attendance exceeding 400 persons.

Our appeal is growing across borders, and accordingly, so are the associated costs of staging such an event.

Your sponsorship will help in defraying expenses such as:

    -Promotion and advertising

    - Airfare and accommodation for finalists originating out of State / Country

    -Ground transportation

  • -Meals for all Artistes and crew

-Auditorium rental including Audio Visual / lighting / videography / live streaming equipment

-First Prize USD 8,000.00, First runner-up USD 4,000.00, Second runner-up USD 1,000.00, trophies, among other expenses.

In exchange for your sponsorship, we commit that your Company’s logo will feature prominently in all media advertising campaigns – print and electronic - as well as live promotions and announcements leading up to - and including - the finals on July 26, 2025

Part proceeds from the finals are earmarked for promoting Jamaican-Youth Cultural and Social Intervention programs in Jamaica, and the USA.

The winner of the TVJ All Together Sing Competition for High School Choirs, in Jamaica will receive an annual donation. The donation was presented to the 2021 winners, Old Harbour High School, by Mr. McCook on September 07, 2022. On September 11th 2023, we made a presentation to Manchester High School, who were the 2022 winners.
