    What We Expect of Board Members

    • Embrace and actively support the vision and goals of Southern Idaho Pride.
    • Attend regular board meetings, typically held monthly between 2-3 hours long.
    • Contribute your skills and expertise.
    • Promote Southern Idaho Pride’s events and programs within your personal and professional circles.
    • Participate in our major events, including our annual Pride Week and the Twin Falls Pride Festival.
    • Collaborate with fellow board members to provide strategic direction and oversight of the operations of the organization.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
    • Assist in developing policies and procedures that align with our mission.
    • Engage in fundraising efforts to support our organization.
    • Help expand our network of supporters and community partners.
    • Enhance your understanding of LGBTQIA+ issues and advocacy.

  • What Next?

    Your application will be reviewed by the current Board of Directors. In the first round, each board member casts one vote to either approve or deny submitted applications.

    Applications that pass the first round will move on to a second review. These will be discussed and voted on during our next general board meeting. All applicants will be notified of their application status within two weeks after this meeting.

    Please note: Review of your application may lead to a follow up "in-person" interview.

    If you have marked that you are interested in an officer position, the process for choosing new officers will be done at a later board meeting.
