HALLA BOL!!
Halla Bol! is the street play or nukkad natak contest at Rubaroo where we talk of the people, and for the people. The nukkad is a form of expression most freeing and liberating, via which we explore the most pressing social issues that affect the common folk. To convey an important message aided by entertaining performances, catchy jingles, and emotionally charged acts, is your chance to talk about the change that you wish to see.
RULES
The competition will consist of a preliminary round held online. Teams that qualify from the preliminary round will perform in the final round, which will be held offline.
Each team is allowed to have between 12-20 participants.
The duration of each performance should not exceed 20 minutes.
Teams are free to choose their themes and must bring any necessary props or instruments themselves.
No assistance will be provided by the host college in this regard. Electronic instruments are not allowed.
All teams must submit a recording of 10 minutes of one of their prior performances, which will be used for preliminary screening. The submission must be uploaded to YouTube or Google Drive, and the link must be provided with viewing access along with the registration form.
Vulgarity, obscenity, and profanity of any kind are strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
The language allowed for the performances will be Hindi, English, or Hinglish.
The use of any fluids, live animals, flames, heavy objects, or any other material that has the potential to damage the venue is strictly prohibited and will lead to disqualification.
