The program features transcriptions of both Vivaldi's and Piazzolla's Four Seasons, highlighting the theme of the seasons in two very different styles and time periods of the music history.

Therapeutic Music

In this educational and therapeutic music class families work with a certified Music Therapist who focuses on increasing cognitive, physical and developmental functions. Through age appropriate musical repertoire, students engage in activities improving their mobility, social interaction, family bonding and exposure to instrument play. Beyond the social component of this class, children are encouraged to creatively express their emotions through different musical activities, songs, dance and improvisation.

The JCC of Staten Island is thrilled to partner with PJ Library to offer the gift of free Jewish storybooks to families raising Jewish children. Each child, from newborn to 12 years old, is eligible to receive their own age-appropriate Jewish-themed book in the mail every month. Is this program a fit for your family?
