Heywood 390 2023 Tracking Registration

Please complete the below form to either: A) add a personal tracker (SPOT or inReach) to the live map, or, B) hire a map-integrated, Trackleaders rental SPOT 'Gen3' tracker.
Payment / check-out is through PayPal (account not required).

Once the tracking map is created, participants should show on tracker within a half hour of registration.
RENTAL NOTES (items 6-9 below)
Rental trackers are not shipped individually but will be available from the organizer at or before the Grand Depart. Email us if you would like a rental for an ITT.
Batteries: Rental SPOT Gen3 trackers *DO NOT INCLUDE* batteries. All SPOT trackers are powered by four, triple-A (4xAAA), *lithium* batts. Energizer 'Ultimate Lithium' (model L92) is the only disposable lithium AAA available in North America. 2 sets may be required to complete the route.
Participants renting SPOTs are responsible for timely return shipping to Trackleaders. Return address is in confirmation email.

In 2020 SPOT changed the "share page" system and went to a new mapping platform. New mapping links of the form https://maps.findmespot.com/s/XXXX do not work with Trackleaders. Old style share page links are now called "XML Feeds" in the findmespot.com system and those are what we need. Existing share page links still work, or enter the 33 character XML Feed ID (last 33 characters of a share page). See examples and tutorial link below.
