Junior Women's League of Smithfield Membership Application

Accepting new members through February 28, 2024. Current members in good standing, or former members who left the League in good standing, must rejoin by August 1, 2023. **All Provisional application fees and membership dues for all levels are non-refundable.**
Membership Scholarships

The Junior Women's League of Smithfield is pleased to offer four partial ($50) membership scholarships for the 2023-2024 league year, in an effort to promote inclusivity for league members. The purpose of membership scholarships is to create opportunity for those women in our community who would like to make a difference in the community but cannot join the League due to financial hardship. Eligible applicants are individuals eligible for league membership with a financial hardship, such that the financial costs of being a member of the JWL may be a deterrent for joining the League. **IMPORTANT** Please complete the scholarship application prior to completing this membership application so that we can adjust your payment amount. PROVISIONAL MEMBERSHIP - New members of the League
- Complete 4 volunteer hours
- Fulfill member requirements for League's signature fundraisers (Touch-A-Truck and Big Night Out)
- Members who join the league from May 1 - August 31 will be required to meet TAT and BNO requirements during their Provisional year
- Members who join the league from September 1 - February 28 will be required to meet BNO requirements during their Provisional year
- Complete one Done in a Day volunteer opportunity
GENERAL MEMBERSHIP - Returning members who are active within the organization and have completed their Provisional membership year
- Complete 8 volunteer hours
- Fulfill member requirements for League's signature fundraisers (Touch-A-Truck and Big Night Out)
ACTIVE SUSTAINER MEMBERSHIP - Individuals who have previously fulfilled at least one full year of general membership requirements as defined by the League who wish to continue to support the league and the community
- Complete one Done in a Day volunteer opportunity (no other volunteer hour requirements)
- Fulfill member requirements for League's signature fundraisers (Touch-A-Truck and Big Night Out)
- Opportunity to volunteer at any opportunities available to league membership
PATRON MEMBERSHIP - Individuals who have previously fulfilled at least one full year of general membership requirements as defined by the League who wish to continue to support the League and the community without the requirements of other membership levels
- No volunteer requirements
- Opportunity to volunteer at any opportunities available to league membership
