Football Victoria (FV) is pleased to announce that Team Entries are open for schools to enter the FV & SSV Primary & Secondary Schools Futsal Championships.

Wednesday 11 October - Narrenjiri Stadium, Darebin - Secondary Futsal Schools Champs Qualifier - North (Year 7 Boys & Girls)

Monday 23 October - Whitten Stadium, Footscray - Secondary Futsal Schools Champs Qualifier - West (Year 7 Boys & Girls)

Term 4 - Secondary Futsal Schools Champs State Finals 5 - Metro (Year 7 Boys & Girls) - Venue to be confirmed

Friday 10 November - Primary Futsal Schools Champs State Finals - Metro (Grade 3/4 Boys & Girls) (Grade 5/6 Boys & Girls) - Venue to be confirmed

9am Arrival – 2:30 conclusion of group stages, 3:30 conclusion of finals.

TEAM ENTRIES

The event is open to School Teams in Grade 3, 4, 5 & 6 and Years 7.

Entry will be on a first in basis and is limited dependant on venue.

FV has subsidised the cost of Team Entry to $80 per team. Payment details to be sent to competing schools following entry.

COMPETITION STRUCTURE

We will have 6 categories of Competition:

Grade 3 & 4 Girls
Grade 3 & 4 Boys
Grade 5 & 6 Girls
Grade 5 & 6 Boys
Year 7 Girls
Year 7 Boys

We will ask teams to arrive by 9am for check in and warm up with first matches commencing from 9:30am. The Finals should be completed by 2:30pm with a short presentation to follow.

Importantly, if your team wins the final you will be invited to the State Final on the 10th November, 2023 for primary schools or 27th October, 2023 for secondary schools.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Futsal teams consist of 5 players on a court at a time, we encourage squads to be made up of no more than 13 players per team, for short format matches like these 7 - 8 is ideal. Should your school have more than 10 Players we'd suggest entering 2 Teams to ensure Students get plenty of pitch time on the day.

Each School will be responsible to provide a trainer for the event as a first aid officer will not be present on the day.
