  • * Leave the wrap on for at least 1-2 hours or until the tattoo can be washed with hot water. Avoid heavily perfumed soaps and refrain from lathering the tattooed area during the healing process. Simply wipe with a clean hand, Never scrub the tattoo. Pat dry with a clean towel or paper towel and let it air dry

    * Keep the tattoo clean and hydrated by using tattoo-specific ointments like Dr. Pickles or natural balms such as Natural Paw Paw ointment. Unscented moisturizers like QV cream can also be used. Apply these sparingly once or twice a day as needed until healed.

    * Avoid scratching the tattoo regardless of how itchy it may get, as this may cause scarring or removal of ink pigment.

    * Do not submerge the tattoo in water, including baths, oceans, pools, spas, and saunas. However, it is important to shower and wash the tattoo to keep it clean.

    * Avoid exposing the fresh tattoo to sunlight or sunbeds to the best of your ability during the healing period as this can cause extensive fading of the tattoo.

    * Keep pets and pet fur away from the tattoo as it may cause an infection.

    * Re-wrap the tattoo on the first night before bed to prevent bleeding onto the sheets.

    * Avoid wearing tight clothing during the healing process.

    * Treat the tattoo like a burn by keeping it clean and free of bacteria to prevent infection.

    * If infection occurs, consult a healthcare professional immediately

  • Waterproof Adhesive Bandage Instructions:

  • *After applying the bandage to your tattoo, it's normal for the area under the bandage to be slightly swollen and red for the next couple of days. Ink and plasma may also seep to the surface, which is completely normal.

*The bandage is waterproof, so you can shower as usual, and you may also bath and swim in pools for short periods of time. However, it's important to avoid excessive exposure to water, as it may weaken the adhesion.

    * Avoid exposing the fresh tattoo to sunlight or sunbeds to the best of your ability during the healing period as this can cause extensive fading of the tattoo.

*On the 5th-7th day, it's recommended to take off the bandage.
In a warm shower, gently and slowly peel up an edge or corner of the bandage in a downward motion. Do not pull it straight up away from the skin.

*Wash your tattoo with warm water and unscented soap, such as QV soap.

*Pat your tattoo dry with a clean towel or paper towel.

*Once your tattoo is clean and dry, apply a thin layer of tattoo aftercare or unscented moisturizer.
