This application helps us get to know you and ensure the best possible match. There are no wrong answers, just honest ones that help us understand your home, lifestyle, and goals for your future Estrela.

Current pricing starts at $4,000 for AKC Limited Registration puppies. A $500 deposit reserves your place on our list and locks in your puppy price for up to 24 months. Our Reservation List is designed for families who plan to add a puppy within the next 2 years.

Started/trained Estrela Mountain Dog puppies start at $7,500.

Adult or started dogs are sometimes available and are priced individually. Please contact us for more information.

Our dogs deserve a meaningful purpose, and as such, we do not place any of our dogs in kennel environments. We require that they become either family guardians/companions, Livestock guardian dogs, Estate guardians etc and live a fulfilling life.

We give recommendations to the homes on our waitlist, in order of deposits received. We only take a select number of deposits per litter.

If you receive a pup recommendation but decide to pass on the current litter/pup, you may retain your place on the Waitlist for the next litter. Should you pass once more, a conversation with us will determine your Waitlist placement moving forward.

Currently, our puppies are available as family protection companions, Estate and Livestock guardians, with Limited Registration and Non-Breeding Contracts. Show-prospect dogs are only available through co-ownership with us.

Estrela Mountain Dogs must have secure fencing to keep them home and safe. We will not place a puppy in an unsecure environment. We will require a photo of the puppies area before they are released to go home. The Estrela breed may struggle with recall in open areas. They will also bark, and they bark loudly. If your area has a strict noise ordinance, you will need to be responsible for your dog. We ask all of our families to consider this before committing to the breed.

Ownership Commitment
Our litters will be available to go home between 8-12 weeks of age. ( this timeframe varies because LGD puppies stay longer with us.) Will you be able to take this puppy home when they are ready or within a week of this date?*
Will you be able to pick up your puppy in person in Reading, Pa?*
If you require shipping, this will be and additional expense. Are you committed to this necessary expense?*
We offer and expect our puppy families to take advantage of at least 30 days of puppy health insurance activated on the go home day. This is for the puppy's and the new owner's protection. How do you feel about this?

We reserve first and exclusive rights to take back our puppies if you can no longer keep them. We are committed to our puppies for life and will not allow them to be placed in shelters etc.
