We try to honor every group visit request. Due to time and space constraints, however, we are not able to accommodate every request. The AAS Programs Coordinator will contact you to confirm the visit and to discuss logistics.

In-Person Guided Library Tour
Led by an AAS staff member, the tour begins in our introductory gallery and may include a view of the Society's eighteenth century printing press, newly constructed conservation and learning lab spaces, the library stacks, and the reading room. Full length tours are approximately 60 minutes long, but instructors may request a truncated version based on group needs and time-restraints.

A guided tour costs $100 for a group of up to 15 attendees

A guided tour costs $200 for a group of 16-25 attendees
Customized Workshop
For an in-person customized workshop, instructors can select up to 10 items from the AAS General Catalog to have on display. Instructors are expected to lead the workshop and discuss the material with members of the group. AAS staff will be responsible for managing the display and care of the collection items during the visit. Duration of a customized workshop depends on group availability, but is recommended to be no longer than 90 minutes. More information about selecting AAS collection material will be available upon confirmation of the group visit.
