For painters attending the Saturday June 10 PAW activities, a schedule will be posted at the Washburn Cultural Center, 1 East Bayfield Street, Washburn WI.
If you only attend on Sunday June 11 for the OPM Paint-Out we will meet at 10:00 at Maslowski Beach near the pedestrian crossing for the trail. Some may want to paint at the beach, walk the trail into the slough or make the very short drive into Prentice Park and access the slough from there. Description of Paint-Out:
Fish Creek Slough, located across from Maslowski Beach in Ashland WI is a large wetland where Fish Creek enters Lake Superior. There is a path and boardwalk than transects the slough and leads from Highway 2 to Prentice Park. This meandering waterway has lots of texture, and there might be waterfowl. Maslowski beach has views of the bay and the city of Ashland.
