Freshman Seminar
The Core Curriculum consists of courses in a broad range of disciplines—literature, languages, art, music, history, philosophy, religion, mathematics, and natural and social sciences. These courses are a required part of every major and you will be placed in courses where available/that match your major. An option for first-year students is to take a Freshmen Seminar (read the course descriptions here) to replace one of your CORES—if interested, you may select your preference below. Modern Languages and Literatures
Every student must complete two semesters of one foreign language. These questions will help us determine your correct placement level.
