Singapore Repertory Theatre (SRT)’s The Young Company is a yearly acting programme for young persons aged between 16 – 25, that will equip you with the holistic skills and techniques you need to shine onstage as well as in your future career of choice. The programme has a rich 20-year history and was the first youth theatre programme to be established in Singapore. We are thrilled to have supported the careers of many wonderful creatives, including: Julie Wee, Brenden Fernandez, Amanda Tee, Rebecca Spykerman, Rishi Budhrani, Bright Ong, and Vanessa Vanderstraaten.
The programme will comprise of a weekly series of exciting masterclasses, led by award-winning industry stalwart Daniel Jenkins, with veteran guest facilitators.
This is your chance to join a programme that covers all the bases — from voice training, movement exercises, scene studies and monologues.
Auditions for Semester 2 will be in person.

- The fee for one semester is SGD500.

What to Prepare for your Audition
- One Contemporary monologue
- One Classic monologue
- One song from a musical of your choice*
*You can be accompanied by your own minus-1 backing track, or sing acapella.
Each monologue and song should not exceed 2 minutes in length.
