  • Welcome!

    Galway City Council and ARUP, with support from Connect the Dots, would like to invite everyone in Galway City’s community to have a say in how Galway City’s parks, woodlands, beaches could be improved.

    The results will be used to shape the Green Space Strategy for Galway City. This strategy will be used by the Council and everyone they work with, to make and shape decisions about developing new playgrounds, sports pitches and other facilities and how to manage nature in the parks, woodlands and beaches. As Galway City evolves, the Council need to ensure that the amenity provision for parks, facilities and nature are meeting the needs of the community while enhancing the natural and built heritage the city has to offer.

    Join us at one of our workshops. A total of 3 will be held across Galway City. This will be an opportunity for the people of Galway to give more detailed feedback on their own personal experience and offer suggestions on how the city’s parks, beaches and woodlands could be improved or added to (Please note that the 3 workshops will be the same but will be repeated to provide flexibility - so you only need to attend one session! )

    Arup is a Design Consultant acting on behalf of Galway City Council for the delivery of the Galway Green Spaces Strategy and Connect the Dots are a public consultation and engagement firm acting on behalf of Galway City council for undertaking the public consultation process for this strategy. Both Arup and Connect the Dots will review your comments as part of the development process for the strategy. Your contact details will not be published or shared and will only be held by the survey platform provider , Arup and Connect the Dots  in relation to your submission and the strategy,


    Your submission will be kept securely and retained for archival purposes.

     

    Your personal contact information will also be kept securely and will be retained for two years.
