We try to honor every group visit request. Due to time and space constraints, however, we are not able to accommodate every request. The AAS Programs Coordinator will contact you to confirm the visit and to discuss logistics.

Virtual Introduction to AAS
Through a PowerPoint presentation, an AAS staff member will introduce the group to the Society. Attendees will be able to see images of the Society's collections, eighteenth century printing press, newly constructed conservation and learning lab spaces, the library stacks, and the reading room. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions throughout the presentation, which is approximately 30-45 minutes in length.

A virtual introduction to AAS costs $100
Virtual Customized Workshop
For a virtual customized workshop, instructors can select up to 10 items from the AAS General Catalog to have on display. Instructors are expected to lead the workshop and discuss the material with members of the group. The workshop will be held through Zoom Meeting and AAS staff will provide real-time access to material by using a high-definition document camera. Duration of a customized workshop depends on group availability, but is recommended to be no longer than 90 minutes. More information about selecting AAS collection material will be available upon confirmation of the group visit.
