We try to honor every group visit request. Due to time and space constraints, however, we are not able to accommodate every request. The AAS Programs Coordinator will contact you to confirm the visit and to discuss logistics.

Read through the options below and select one or more options to include in your visit.
Customized Hybrid Workshop (for both in-person and virtual attendees)
For a hybrid customized workshop, instructors can select up to 10 items from the AAS General Catalog to have on display. Instructors are also expected to lead the workshop and discuss the material with members of the group. For virtual attendees, the workshop will be held through Zoom Meeting and AAS staff will provide real-time access to material by using a high-definition document camera. In person attendees will be able to see and interact with the material on display as well. Duration of a customized workshop depends on group availability, but is recommended to be no longer than 90 minutes. More information about selecting AAS collection material will be available upon confirmation of the group visit.

A hybrid customized workshop costs $200
Guided Library Tour (for in-person attendees only)
Led by an AAS staff member, tours offered to in-person attendees begin in our introductory gallery and may include a view of the Society's eighteenth century printing press, newly constructed conservation and learning lab spaces, the library stacks, and the reading room. Full length tours are approximately 60 minutes long, but instructors may request a truncated version based on group needs and time-restraints.

An in-person guided tour costs $100 for a group of up to 15 attendees
