Application Procedure for use of Cary West Research Facilities
Complete and submit this form. Upload or E-mail additional materials requested to Denise A Schmidt, Director of Laboratory Facilities and Analytical Services (DLFAS): schmidtd@caryinstitute.org. NOTE: If animals are to be used, you must submit the approval from your organization’s animal use committee stating that your proposal has been reviewed and approval granted (IACUC). Applications will be reviewed by the DLFAS and notified via email of a decision. Please allow at least two weeks for the review process to begin. Once approved, applicants will meet with the DLFAS to discuss access regulations and additional needs of the project. The Institute must be acknowledged as the site where your work was conducted in any publications that result from this work. The proper way to acknowledge the Institute is as follows: Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies Millbrook, NY. Applications for use of Cay West Research Facilities must be submitted, updated and renewed annually.
