Dear Friend,
Are you interested in volunteering as a judge for the CIJE Innovation Day engineering competition?
The Center for initiatives in Jewish Education (CIJE) is a non-profit organization that promotes STEM education in primary and secondary schools. CIJE works with over 200 schools in 18 states across America, impacting over 45,000 students annually.
Our high school program focuses on engineering and culminates in an engineering capstone team project. It introduces students to electrical, computer, mechanical, and biomedical engineering. Here is a video of our students presenting their capstone projects at a past CIJE Innovation Day: https://youtu.be/-QKBq6FNp0g .
Ideally, we are looking for judges with a STEM background. While this is primarily an engineering competition, we are also looking for some judges with non-engineering backgrounds.
Feel free to share this email with any of your colleagues whom you feel would be appropriate judge candidates.
Thank you very much for helping our students!
The CIJE Team
