    We are now using the LeConte for freight service.

    • Costco - your order must be submitted 6 days prior to the sailing date.
    • Drop-offs - by appointment only on FRIDAYS. 
    • Items dropped off more than 5 days before the next scheduled ferry service will be charged $50/week/pallet.

     

    We do not offer long term storage at our Juneau facility.

    Freight service is not available for catamaran runs.

        • Please leave us a DETAILED description of your order.  Why?  With extremely limited ferry service we bring ALOT of freight to Pelican on almost every sailing.  The more information we have in advance about what we're bringing out - the better.  It takes alot of time and coordination to load everything (often by hand) into our shipping containers to optimize space and ensure that we get everything to Pelican.

          For Costco - the approximate value of your order and the storage needs (shelf stable/frozen/chill).  This helps us determine roughly how much space we need to pack everything for shipment.  We try to pack frozen items in insulated totes, so please note that parts of your order may be combined with other customers' items.

           

          For Valley Lumber - please summarize your order below - and we ask that you send a copy of your VL invoice to freight@yakobifisheries.com  Knowing your exact order goes a long way in helping us arrange the containers for shipment.  If you are unable to provide an invoice we may ask VL for a copy, or ask you for more details. Lumber and building supplies can be especially space consuming and heavy.  Help us to help you!

           

          Warehouse drop-offs - please leave a detailed description of what you will be dropping off.  This includes the number of totes, pallets, or boxes, approximate weights, storage needs (shelf stable/frozen/chill), etc.  Your drop-off may not be accepted and/or delivered if this information is not provided!  Remember - you MUST make an appointment to drop-off.  We have alot going on at the warehouse and need to schedule time to intake your shipment.  If you do not make an appointment, your items may not make the ferry, and you will be subject to a storage fee until the next boat.

           

          We do our absolute best to fit every parcel on the boat.  Please note that there may be times when not everything makes it to Pelican.  If that happens, we will reach out to you and get your goods onto the next sailing. 

        • By continuing you agree to the following terms:

          • Yakobi Fisheries may assist in loading and/or unloading items not contained within it's own trailers or vehicles.  In that event, Yakobi Fisheries is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items or property.
          • Your shipment will be delivered to Pelican on the sailing date listed above.  We will do our best to keep freight frozen or chilled but are not liable for spoiling or thawing.  We do not ship to Pelican in active freezers or coolers.
          • You or your agent are responsible to be present to receive your shipment in Pelican on the ferry date listed above.  YF will remove pallets/boxes from containers for you to access. 
          • A $25 pickup fee will be collected now, after clicking the submit button below.
          • You will be invoiced via email after your order is weighed at $.30/lb.
          • Payment can be made online via credit card using the link provided in the email, or you may bring a check to the Yakobi Fisheries office in Pelican. Payment is due upon receiving the invoice.
          • Failure to make timely payment will result in discontinued freight service from YF to you as a customer.
