Please leave us a DETAILED description of your order. Why? With extremely limited ferry service we bring ALOT of freight to Pelican on almost every sailing. The more information we have in advance about what we're bringing out - the better. It takes alot of time and coordination to load everything (often by hand) into our shipping containers to optimize space and ensure that we get everything.
For Costco - the approximate value of your order and the storage needs (shelf stable/frozen/chill). This helps us determine roughly how much space we need to pack everything for shipment. We try to pack frozen items in insulated totes, so please note that parts of your order may be combined with other customers' items.
For Valley Lumber - please summarize below - and we ask that you send a copy of your VL invoice to freight@yakobifisheries.com Knowing your exact order goes a long way in helping us arrange the containers for shipment. If you are unable to provide an invoice we may ask VL for a copy, or ask you for more details. Lumber and building supplies can be especially space consuming and heavy. Help us to help you!
For Drop-off's at our warehouse - please leave a detailed description of what you will be dropping off. This includes the number of totes or boxes, approximate weights, storage needs (shelf stable/frozen/chill), etc. Your drop-off may not be accepted and/or delivered if this information is not provided! Remember - you MUST make a Thursday appointment to drop-off. We have alot going on at the warehouse and need to schedule time to intake your shipment. If you do not make an appointment, your items may not make the ferry, and you will be subject to a storage fee until the next boat.
