You must be 14 years of age or older to volunteer - with an adult permission slip signed at the first visit if under 18.

Younger children are allowed but must be accompanied by their adult guardian at all times.

Do you understand that all live animals are capable of accidental scratching, biting, etc. and agree to only handle animals as instructed in order to try and avoid injury to both human and animals?

Do you understand that even with proper handling it is possible to sustain a bite, scratch, etc when working with live animals, and agree that this is a risk you are willing to take by volunteering? It’s a small risk, but we just want people to be prepared.

Do you understand that power tools can be dangerous and you should only agree to using them as your own risk and if you are comfortable handling them?
