Welcome

Dear NAA members.  In our last survey, members voted for minor revisions to the breed standard and identified the priority traits for revision but the survey did not identify the specific changes members wanted to see made. We have identified some potential changes that could be made to improve the breed standard and we need your help to provide feedback on them. You have received a copy of the proposed changes to the standard via email, with a rationale for each of the changes. You can also find the changes in the news section of the NAA website. Please study these proposed revisions, which will only be implemented with the support of the majority of members. This survey asks you to identify whether you support each of the specific revisions (YES for agree, No for disagree). Please spend some time to review the text of each trait in the revised standard and identify whether or not you support the revision. Where you do not support the revision (or alternatively would like to revise an unchanged trait), you will be asked to state why and ideally provide an alternative description of the trait that you would support. Also for each trait you are asked to rate the importance of the trait with regard to developing the grading system. Those traits rated of high importance by most members will be given a greater weighting in the grading system than those rated of low importance. Please complete all questions and click submit after the last question. We don't expect to get this right on the first try and we cannot expect to satisfy all members but hopefully we can use this input to make key modifications to the standard that the majority of members can support. If you cannot complete your form in one sitting there should be an option at the bottom of each page to save and continue later with which you can send yourself an email with a link to continue your submission.  DO NOT FORGET TO CLICK SUBMIT ON THE LAST QUESTION WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED
