    LJI is a Christian ministry organization and we require all employees to either agree with and actively practice orthodox Christianity as defined in LJI’s Statement of Faith, or at least to agree to conform their conduct to Christian moral values.   • Many Christian workers all over the world personally raise the funds needed to cover their salary and (at times) ministry expenses. This approach is commonly called “support raising.” The Christian worker meets with family, friends, and churches to share their ministry vision and extend an invitation to each one to partner with them by financially investing. Nearly all of our overseas expat LJI staff started off raising 100% of their salary and many still continue raising a portion of their salary. Raising financial support is a key example of the body of Christ supporting its members and joining in the fight against injustice. LJI provides administrative and prayer support throughout the process, as well as guidance and resources to help a new staff build up a team of ministry partners. Please prayerfully consider whether you may be called to step out in faith and raise support for this position.
