  • Auction Submission Form

  • Thank you for your interest in contributing to CCVLP’s 2026 Garden Party & Auction! This event is our annual fundraiser that allows us to raise unrestricted funds for our organization to allow us to continue our work. We are excited to celebrate local creativity in support of access to justice. We have some changes this year so make sure to read through this full introduction before filling out the form.

    Deadlines
Submissions will be accepted through June 15, 2026.
All artists will be notified of the selection committee’s decisions by June 30, 2026.

    Commission
Artists will receive a 50% commission from the sale of their artwork, with the remaining 50% benefiting CCVLP and our mission to provide free civil legal aid to those who need it most.

    Auction Model Update: Services-Based Approach
For 2026, we are prioritizing a services-based auction model. Because we aim for transparency, here’s why:

Art Insurance is Expensive. As a legal services organization we take insurance seriously, and when it comes to our Art Auction, that includes the art insurance we purchase annually to protect ourselves as well as the valuable art on display at the event. Unfortunately the cost to maintain art insurance (which increases with the number of pieces) can nearly negate CCVLP’s portion of the proceeds.

We’ve Seen a Reduction in Physical Art Sales and an Increase in “Experience” Sales. We know we’ve only done this for a few years, but we’re starting to see a decline in sales of physical art. This may be because we’re still working on bringing in more first-time attendees each year and those who do attend may not be in the market to purchase new pieces every time.

So this year we’re trying a soft shift to “experience” submissions. Artists are encouraged to offer experiences or services in place of physical artwork.
Examples may include (but are not limited to):
    - Workshops or classes
    - Private lessons or group experiences
    - Commissioned artwork (to be created after purchase)
    - Creative consulting or design services
Service-based offerings allow you to avoid upfront material costs and only commit time once your item has been purchased and scheduled.

There is Still an Option to Submit a Physical Art Piece (Limited Capacity)
We know that physical art pieces are part of what makes this event special, and we don’t want to do away with them completely. But we will accept a far more limited number of physical artwork submissions this year. If submitting a physical piece, please note:
    - Artists must bring their completed piece to the event and handle setup. The event will be on August 2, 2026 from 1PM-4PM at Jacquot Vineyard in Brush Prairie. The venue has ADA compliant parking and restrooms, along with paved pathways. Please let us know if you may need additional accommodations.
    - Artists are required to remain onsite for the duration of the event.
    - Only one (1) physical submission per artist will be accepted.
    - Fewer physical pieces will be accepted than in years past.

    Selection Process
All submissions will be reviewed by a selection committee and evaluated on the elements found in this rubric. Due to limited capacity for both physical pieces and experiences, not all submissions can be accepted.
If your submission is not selected, please know this is not a reflection of your talent or value as an artist. We deeply appreciate your willingness to contribute and encourage you to participate in future events.
