  • Seasickness Prevention

  • Conditions vary from day to day. The trip to Lady Musgrave Island and Lagoon is an open ocean crossing and we recommend that every guest take preventative measures to avoid becoming seasick. We recommend seasickness prevention medication Travacalm for the ultimate comfort on your trip to the Great Barrier Reef.

For your safety Lady Musgrave Experience does not allow shoes to be worn onboard our transfer vessels Reef Empress or Main Event. All guests are to adhere to the instructions provided by crew at all times to ensure the safety of all passengers throughout the event and transfers.

When the vessel is underway please maintain 3 points of contact at all times for your safety, keeping on hand on railings and 2 feet on the ground at all times whilst moving about and when seated please maintain 2 feet on the floor. If you require assistance please ask one of our experienced crew and they will be more than happy to assist you.

Please pay attention during all onboard announcements as these contain important safety information and will help ensure your comfort throughout the day. Our team will keep these to a minimum and only relevant and necessary information will be relayed.
