POSITION DESCRIPTION
TITLE OF POSITION: Employee Liaison
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Mission Services Director
DATE: 04/18/2023
STATUS: Non-Exempt
FUNCTION: To coordinate services for Goodwill employees and help implement resources needed for the employees' success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Assists in marketing of program to all Goodwill employees and continuously embodies Goodwill's new culture.
2. Be available for employee orientations to meet new employees and describe your function at Goodwill.
3. Work closely with the Mission department and understand available resources in the community.
4. Develops an Individualized Objectives and Goals Plan (IOGP) (i.e., assisting with daily living, but not limited to, enhanced employment with Goodwill, outside employment, soft skills, job skills, and transportation.
5. Meets with employees on a weekly basis to review the progress of each participant.
6. Manage the employee relationships (communicating expectations and duties, problem solving employee related job difficulties) for the purpose of ensuring employees' success.
7. Determine when an employee needs to be referred to HR or Corporate Trainer and assist with setting up those appointments.
8. Provides progress reports for the Mission Services Director on a weekly basis for everyone served.
9. Retention reporting on enrolled employees.
10. Must travel to store locations consistently for the purpose of maintaining relationships with employees and to explore expanding opportunities.
11. Flexible schedule - may be required to work nights and weekends based on employee needs.
12. Facilitate relationships with the employee for the purpose of ensuring employees success and maintaining a positive relationship with the employee.
13. Performs other duties as assigned by Mission Services Director and CEO.
