Join your colleagues as you learn the power of assessment and monitoring student growth to inform instruction.
Participants will discuss how a balanced assessment system in your classroom can help support instructional decisions for optimal student success. We will also examine how assessment is important in helping students take charge of their learning. Finally, we will address the importance and power of culturally responsive pedagogy, curriculum, and assessment to ensure students are engaged in authentic learning.
INTENDED AUDIENCE: PreK-12 classroom teachers, special education teachers, instructional coaches, and other teaching specialists
TRAINING DATES/TIME: July 11 - 13, 2023 | 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. daily
(Breakfast will be provided daily at 8:00 a.m.)
TRAINING LOCATION: This workshop will be offered in two locations:
- IFT, 4 Executive Drive, Fairview Heights, IL 62208
- IFT, 500 Oakmont Lane, Westmont, IL 60559
TRAINING REGISTRATION FEES: Registration costs $120.00 per member, including training materials and daily breakfast.
REGISTRATION IS LIMITED. Enrollment is limited to IFT members and registrations will be processed in the order in which they are received.
