Charitable Auction Donation: Pacific Assistance Dogs Society

We have partnered with Pacific Assistance Dogs Society again in 2024.

In addition to being a valuable resource for our community, and something worth suppoting, their participation provides enormous benefit to the show, for example:

• The dogs' presence provides a calming distraction for our attendees, so they aren't just focused on drinking.
• In our post-event survey, PADS' presence is always listed as a top benefit for attendees.
• Media love them! They are helpful in us getting media attention.

I understand that this is a challenging time for many distillieries, but I strongly encourage exhibitors to donate something so that PADS continues to enjoy success in this partnership.

We will publicly recognize your contribution prior to the show, both through social media and on our PADS page.

This is not a requirement, but is appreciated.

This year we'll have close to 50 people working between 7 and 14 hours on the day of the event.

Many of you have commented on how well BC Distilled runs, and the reason is simple: we have experienced volunteers who return year after year, and one of the reasons they do so is because we treat them so well.

If you're able, we would appreciate donations to help create our thank-you packages. In order to plan and execute volunteer gifts, we would welcome at least a six items of product (any size), but more if you'd like.

Gift packages are planned in detail weeks ahead of the event.

You will be publicly acknowledged every chance I get, but won't mention the specifics of your gift if it is spirits for obvious reasons.

If you're only going to donate to one thing, make it a PADS donation. Don't feel obligated to give product here, too.
