Thank you for choosing to serve in RHCC Kids! All information from this application will be kept strictly confidential.
  • General Information

  • Please list three personal references (maximum of one family member):

  • Christian Experience

  • To protect our children and our church, we must ask the following sensitive questions. Please know that a "yes" answer to any of these questions does not by itself preclude you from being a children's volunteer. We do request, however, that you make an appointment with the Director of Children's Ministries to discuss any "yes" answer.

  • RHCC Kids Volunteer Covenant

Because we believe in the high calling to the ministry of teaching children and desire to use our gifts and abilities to the glory of Christ, we agree to strive to fulfill the following expectations:

    1. It is the mission of RHCC Kids to: Share Jesus Christ with all the children who come into our care, so that they can come to know Him as their personal Savior. Disciple them in the Word of God. Inspire them to share Jesus with others. Support families as they help their children grow in the love of God.

    2. Greet each child and parent in a warm and friendly manner.

    3. Develop caring relationships with the children. Also encourage team members to develop caring relationships with the children, so all children feel welcomed.

    4. Be regular in attendance. Arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to the beginning of class, making sure that the team is adequately prepared (Bible lesson, craft, memory verse, room environment, etc.), and ready to begin.

    5. Faithfully pray for class staff, children and the Bible lesson to be taught. Encourage team members to also pray.

    6. Be committed to teach in compliance with the RHCC Teaching Statement.

    7. Attend weekly Huddle for prayer and encouragement with your team.

    8. Attend volunteer trainings.

    9. Notify Children’s Ministries staff of the need for an absence as soon as possible.

    10. Regularly attend a worship service.

    11. Be involved in an activity or program (such as a small group) that promotes Bible Study and personal spiritual growth.

  • I acknowledge that I have read and understand the RHCC Kids Covenant. To the best of my ability, the information and answers given on this form are true and reflect my desire to volunteer in RHCC Kids at Rolling Hills Covenant Church.
