Nouveau Program Application
Nouveau is a chamber music program with the goal of increasing participation in orchestral music by African American and Latine student musicians. The program provides equitable opportunities for performing and studying chamber music. Applicants must have studied their instrument privately for at least 1-2 years and must be able to read music prior to joining Nouveau.

The NOUVEAU PROGRAM consists of weekly chamber coachings, workshops, interactions with professional musicians and performances throughout the season.

The Pre-conservatory is designed to be a multi-year learning experience for student musicians on orchestral instruments. Please tell us why you believe you qualify for this program.
Recording

We would love to hear you play a little!
String (including harp) students should submit a polished piece—one that has been performed or is ready to be performed.

Woodwind and Brass students should similarly submit a recording of a piece that could be performed for Solo & Ensemble Assessment events.
