Official scorebooks are required for entry to all AWDF sanctioned events. One scorebook is required for each dog and the scorebook must be transferred with the dog when and if the dog is transferred to a new owner. As per a recent decision by the AWDF, if you obtain your scorebook from the WDSAA and you have a Dutch Shepherd and provide the proper registry information, your dog will be listed as a Dutch Shepherd. If you have a Dutch Shepherd and apply for a scorebook from any other breed organization in the AWDF including USCA, the dog will be listed as a MIX. Sport organizations (USMRA, DVG, etc.) use their own criteria to determine the breed of a dog.
Applications MUST include:1. PHOTOCOPY OF THE REGISTRATION PAPERS. If the dog is not AKC/FCI/UKC registered, all available information should be provided by the owner and “MIX” will be noted on the scorebook.
2. PROOF OF CURRENT WDSAA MEMBERSHIP. (please send a photocopy of your membership card if possible as this will expedite the verification process.
3. $15 APPLICATION FEE
4. IF APPLICABLE: PHOTOCOPY OF SCOREBOOK or AWARDED CERTIFICATE showing latest obtained titles. Highest earned titles will be recorded and you must show date, host organization, host club, city and state, degree earned, Judge, and points earned.
