About
DaCo is an educational and performance-oriented program developed by Angela Blumberg Dance (ABD). The program supports choreographic practices by providing emerging choreographers with resources and tools to deepen their research. DaCo is currently looking for professional dancers to join the program. Each dancer has the opportunity to work with an emerging choreographer over the course of two weeks and participate in a work-in-progress showing open to the public on September 2, 2023.
Guidelines
- Dancers must have a professional background in dance
- Dancers must be available for the entire time of the residency
What we offer
- DaCo will invite up to nine professional dancers to join our 2-week choreographic residency in Toronto
- The residency includes 2-3 hours of rehearsal per day per dancer
- A work-in-progress showing at the end of the residency where choreographers and dancers present their research to the public
- An hourly fee of $30

DaCo will take place in Toronto from August 19 – September 2, 2023
