Concert for Fall Semester: Saturday December 13, 2025

Application Requirements:

For pianists, violinists, violists, cellists, classical guitarists, flutists, and composers ages 12 years old to 18 years old. Exceptions can be made; please visit our website for more detailed information.
Students must be able to attend on Saturdays of Pre-College taking place in Alhambra, California
Application fee of $125 must be submitted to complete the application. The fee is non-refundable.

Audition Information:

Two contrasting pieces (ie. Baroque or Classical AND Romantic or 21st Century)
String players should bring a pianist for works that require accompaniment.
Bring at least one copy of your music for the jury
Live audition strongly preferred over online/video audition; exceptions over a live audition will be made on a case-by-case basis. Please email info@friedmusic.com for your reasons when you send in the application.
Be prepared for the jury members to make some comments and work with applicant for a few minutes
Junior Chamber Music:
- All applicants will be applying for JCM alongisde our Pre-College and do not need to fill out a separate application form or re-audition.
- The application fee reflects the fee for applying for two programs.
