  • PONTIAC BURSARIES - 2025 APPLICATION FORM

    Pontiac Bursaries provide financial assistance as an incentive to post-secondary education for full time students originally from the Pontiac area. Bursaries are awarded through the generous contributions of local individuals, businesses and organizations.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
    Applicants must be from the MRC Pontiac or the Municipality of Pontiac and be registered in a full time post-
    secondary program for the 2025-2026 school year

    APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

    -Complete the application form and submit
    -Submit all other documents directly or via email to info@pontiacbursaries.ca-You can save at any time and resume later by clicking on the SAVE button of each section.

    Other documents that are required:

    1. Students currently in Secondary V - Secondary IV transcript and Secondary V most recent report card;
    2. Students currently in college, university, or professional training - most recent transcripts;
    3. Copies of 2024 T4 or Relevé 1 or Notice of Assessment (for student, as well as parents and/or spouse);
    4. Proof of registration for upcoming 2025-2026 school year.

    While it is preferred that you submit your application and all necessary documents directly, we realize that this might not be possible for everyone. If necessary, please send by email to info@pontiacsbursaries.ca or by mail to:

  • There are 40 bursaries available in the amount of $1,000. Some are individually sponsored, while others are contributed by multiple donors. You will be considered for all bursaries that apply to your situation. There is a maximum of 1 bursary awarded per recipient. Bursaries are awarded according to financial need and the specifications below:

  • Please do not forget to attach the required documents to your application or submit them separately by email to info@pontiacbursaries.ca no later than Friday, June 6, 2025.

    Only those who are awarded a bursary will be contacted. Please note that should you be awarded a bursary, you or a representative from your family must be present at the awards ceremony to receive the financial award. Details for the ceremony will be provided.

    Should you be awarded a bursary and decide not to attend school in the fall, the bursary must be returned the Pontiac Bursaries Committee.
