Cheyenne County Fair & Rodeo Royalty Application

• Interested applicants must be a minimum of 14 years of age and must not exceed 19 years of age, as of Friday, June 5, 2026. 
• Applicant must reside within Cheyenne County, Nebraska unless resident is currently enrolled and active in Cheyenne County 4H program. 
• Applicant DOES NOT have to be enrolled in Cheyenne County 4H program if a resident of Cheyenne County. 
• Applicant must own or lease a horse. 
• Deadline to register is Friday, June 5, 2026 at 5:00 pm.
• Applications may be filled out online at: www.cheyennecountyfair.com/forms or be delivered in person to Madison Dunn (cell: 720-319-9358). 
• Complete handbook will be given and reviewed during a mandatory meeting on June 12, 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Cheyenne County Fairgrounds arena.
• First practice will held after mandatory meeting on June 12, 2026 at 5:00 pm
• Practices will be held at the fairgrounds on June 12 and June 19 at 5:00 pm
• Rodeo Queen competition will be held on Friday, June 26 at 9 am at the Cheyenne County Fairgrounds
• Applicants are required to attend the below listed events: 
• Camp Clark Stampede in Bridgeport (4th of July)
• Dalton Fall Festival parade (3rd weekend in September)
• Potter Days parade (Saturday of Labor Day weekend)
• Lodgepole Old Settlers Days parade (Monday, Labor Day)
• Octoberfest parade (Saturday, first full weekend of October)
• Present and available for ALL Cheyenne County Fair & Rodeo events during the week of fair week (4-H, evening events, etc.). Some exceptions may be made with the Coordinator, with fairboard approval. 
• **** Above listed events are REQUIRED attendances, however, not limited to these events only, with approval from Coordinator, outside events throughout the reign are permitted and urged. ****
