Welcome to the YEAR ONE || SEED LAB’s open resource library and zine exchange!
These materials will then become open source resources to be freely accessed, used, shared, and distributed through the OS Open Access Archive. Filling in the information below helps us add archival information to the library!
What you’ll find here is an ever-evolving collection of open materials and tools made into resources for the people, by the people. In addition to adding materials to the library you are welcome to make copies of any of these zines and tools for distribution!
In 2023-24, there will also be a series of ongoing related events at, among other spaces, Left Bank Gallery in North Bennington, Crossett Library, and at Bennington's Center for the Advancement of Public Action. Through this project we invite you to think about what it means to create materials for yourself and others, largely outside of any formal economy, and to do so in ways that engage with print materials accessible and reproducible by anyone, regardless of their access to technology or virtual spaces.
If you’re interested in working with us, having us “seed” a library like this one in your school / library / organization, or in coming to any of our events email elaemoss@bennington.edu.
