     Real stories

  • Each month, we're inviting members of our community to share stories about a given topic. Our hope is that featuring these stories at Zeera encourages everyone to talk more about mental health—the authentic, sometimes messy, and ultimately human experiences that make us who we are.

    If you'd like to participate, record a voice note and submit it using the fom below. Your submission just may be feature in Zeera's app or social.

  • This month, we want to hear stories you have around play, joy, and lightness.

    We often focus on the hardest parts of life—unlearning old patterns, managing difficult feelings, and having tough conversations. For Mental Health Awareness month, we're inviting members to remember and share moments and memories that feel lighter, brighter, and playful—because noticing and celebrating those moments can support us through the times we feel low.

     

    Not sure where to begin? Here are a few prompts to get started.

    • What did play look like for you when you were younger? What impact did it have on you? And what does play look like for you now?
    • When was the last time you played as an adult? How did it make you feel?
    • What are some playful habits you incorporate into everyday life? For yourself, with family, or with friends?
    • What does it feel like to play with your child or with another small person in your life? What do you think playing with them does for you as an adult?

     

    If you'd like to submit your story to be featured in Zeera's in-app content among other community members' stories, record and submit a voice note below. 

    You don't have to use your your name if you don't want to. And while you can share a story around any of the questions above, you're also welcome to just speak from the heart. Whatever you want to share, we want to hear it.
