Information about Membership and Borrowing rights
We love having community members! By joining as a community member you will have access to:
- Paper copy books in a selected campus Library (no inter Library loans)
  - with the ability to borrow up to 10 books at a time - note that these must be picked up from your selected campus (resources can not be posted)
  - 2 week loans for General collection and 1 week loans for high demand resources
- Online Journals and some e-books through Open Athens (access to EBSCO and PROQUEST databases)
Perlego - ebook subscription
Access to Perlego can be arranged at a fee of $125/year or $60/Semester which is lower than individual registration directly through Perlego.
- Note that this is only available for Community Members or existing ThC student. (Can't purchase separately)
- Note that the $60/Semester option is slightly cheaper since there is no guarantee of extended use due to our licencing allocations.
Library Conditions of Use
- Always present your card when borrowing. The card is not transferable.
- You agree to accept responsibility for all items issued on your card and agree to return all items by the due dates.
- If your card is lost or stolen notify Morling College immediately. You may be held responsible if items are then borrowed with the card.
Your Responsibilities
- Return items by the correct due dates, without damage or markings. You will be blocked from borrowing until overdue items are returned. Please note there is a secure afterhours return chute if you require to return items outside library opening hours.
- Replace any items that have been lost or damaged under your care.
- Pay fines and penalties according to our policies for overdue and/or lost books.

Membership and Payment options
We have three main types of community membership:
- Alumni membership - for people who have completed a course at Morling
- Public membership - for members of the public and staff who work at Baptist Associations/Organisations
- Membership for Baptist Accredited or recognised ministers and cross-cultural workers (missionaries) from any organisation who are on home assignment.

If you are applying for a discount, or are a cross-cultural worker on home assignment please also upload some documentation for our records:
- concession discount: please upload a picture or copy of your healthcare card or pensioner card
- cross-cultural worker: please upload a letter from your organisation on letterhead outlining the dates of your home assignment

Community Borrower - Baptist ministers and cross-cultural workers We offer FREE community membership to those Accredited or Recognised ministers and cross-cultural workers on home assignment. If you are a Baptist Minister or a cross-cultural worker outside of NSW, ACT, QLD or WA please upload documentation below.

Perlego licence (available to new or existing community members and ThC students)Perlego is an online e-book repository with access to over 1,000,000 non-fiction titles and no time limit on access. You can create your own curated lists, keep a record of what you are reading, and take notes. We offer Perlego licences slightly cheaper than you can access individually through the company. Cost is $60/6mths or $125/yr.
